Cote was born in Santiago, Chile on the 12th November 1979 but she was raised in Miami. Her birth name is Marie José de Pablo Fernández but she´s known as Cote de Pablo. She gratuated from Carnegie Mellon University where she studied music teather. She´s been in many teather productions, for example Indiscretions and A Little Night Music. She did her first television role in the show Control that she hosted togheter with the Entertainment Tonight host Carlos Ponce. Carlos also intervued her and Michael Weatherly on the set of NCIS a few years ago. Cote had a small role in All My Children alonside Rudolf Martin who later played her half brother Ari Haswari in NCIS. In 2005 she made her Broadway debut as Dolores Fuentes in The Mambo Kings and she´s know starring in NCIS as Mossad officer Ziva David.
